Check-in
Say hi to Tara at the front desk. Forms arrive by email before your visit, so there is no clipboard. Bring your insurance card and a photo ID.
5-15 min
Dental history
Your dentist asks what hurts, what work you have had before, how you feel about the dentist and what you want your teeth to look like.
15-35 min
Exam and X-rays
A tooth by tooth exam, gum measurements and low-dose digital X-rays, with an intraoral camera so you see what we see. We explain each step as we go.
35-45 min
Findings in plain words
What we found, what is urgent, what can wait and what it would cost. If nothing needs doing, we say that too.
45-55 min
Your cleaning
A hygienist cleans, polishes and flosses, and shows you the two spots your brush keeps missing.
55-60 min
Your plan & next steps
You leave with a written plan: what is urgent, what can wait, what each item costs and what your dental plan covers.

What to bring
Insurance card, photo ID, a list of medications and any X-rays from your last dentist.
How long
Plan for 60 minutes. Checkups after that are usually 30 to 40 minutes.

Tell us when you book. We plan extra time, explain every step and stop whenever you raise a hand.
Parking
Two-hour street parking on Ashley and the Ashley and William structure a block away, with the first hour free.
